Bunyadi- the naked restaurant of London

Are you bored with your monotonous and hectic life?

Want to experience the true liberation?

Plan a trip to London and visit Bunyadi, a newly opened restaurant in London to relax from the trappings of modern life. It is London’s first nude restaurant which offers an entirely natural eating experience. The customers of Bunyadi are free from electric lights, phones and even clothing.

It’s a 42 seater restaurant and it has about 44000 people on its waiting list, but it’s open only for three months.

Before dining, the guest may choose to drink fresh cocktails in the bar area where the clothing is compulsory. The guests are then taken to a private room where they may change into a gown, which they may remove or wear at the time of meal.

The restaurant has two sections namely “naked and pure” where the guests can sit in robes or completely nude. On the other hand, they also have “non-naked” section, where they can stay clothed.

Customers have an option to choose from organic vegan and non-vegan dishes under a canopy of candlelight. The food here is offered on handmade clay plates along with edible cutlery served by the naked staffs.  Moreover, the food has no added preservative and the furniture is also wood-carved.

The candle light and the wooden chair and tables, which are partitioned with bamboo and wicker screens offers some privacy to the dinner. Moreover, the aromatic candle gives it a more spa-like experience.

Seb Lyall said: “We believe people should get the chance to enjoy and experience a night out without any impurities: no chemicals, no artificial colours, no electricity, no gas, no phone and even no clothes if they wish to. The idea is to experience true liberation.”

The restaurant might seem weird to many, but most of the people who had already visited the restaurant had enjoyed the natural dining experience. However, you are not allowed to click pictures in the restaurant, of course for the obvious reason.

The restaurant may appear a bit pricey at about 55-65 pound per person, but a visit is highly recommended especially with a group of friends or with your someone special for a unusual experience.

Bon appetite!!
